Each wall may be different, but you’ll be able to do it correctly by just following our guidelines

Thinking about refreshing your space with some beautiful wallpaper? Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced decorator, you can successfully use our products—even if you’ve never applied wallpaper before. With a little self-confidence, you’ll find the process comes naturally. If you’re considering refreshing your space with beautiful wallpaper, accurate measurements areessential for ordering the right amount. Here’s how to measure your wallsproperly to achieve that perfect look.

TOOLS YOU'LL NEED

Before you start, grab a measuring tape—this is essential for precise measurements. While smartphone apps might seem convenient, they often lack the accuracy needed for wallpapering projects.

MEASURE THE HEIGHT

Begin by measuring the height of your wall from the floor to the ceiling, excluding any baseboards. This gives you the total vertical space you’ll be covering.

MEASURE THE WIDTH

Next, measure the width of the wall from one end to the other. This will determine how many panels you’ll need for a seamless look.

TYPES OF WALLS

STANDARD WALLS

The whole wall’s width and height should be measured. Please make sure you got it correctly by checking twice

SLOPED WALLS

Without accounting for slopes, measure the wall at its highest and widest point. Your wallpaper should be ordered as if the slopes are not there

WALLS WITH WINDOWS, DOORS & OTHER OBSTACLES

When measuring around windows and doors, it's best to imagine these features aren’t there. This approach helps maintain a consistent pattern across the entire wall, ensuring a flawless finish.

MEASURING MULTIPLE WALLS

If your project involves multiple walls, measure each one and add their widths together. This will allow you to place a single order that covers all your needs. Next measure the height of the wall,
making sure you choose the highest point of the wall.

CALCULATING QUANTITY & LENGTH

Our wallpapers come in the standard wall heights of 65”, 96”, 108”, and 120”, and all panels are 22 inches wide. Unlike traditional rolls, our wallpaper is designed in panels that install side by side without overlaps.

HOW TO CALCULATE QUANTITY

• Divide the Total Width: Take the total width of the wall you plan to wallpaper and divide it by 22 (the width of our panels).

• Round Up: Always round up to the nearest whole number. This ensures you have enough panels for a complete installation—never work with fractions!

Example Calculation:

• If your wall measures 104 inches wide: 104 ÷ 22 = 4.7
• Round 4.7 to the nearest whole number, which is 5.
• This means you’ll need to order 5 panels to cover your wall.

HOW TO CALCULATE LENGTH OF PANEL

When it comes to height, select the panel that is closest to your wall height without exceeding it. This will help you
achieve a professional look with minimal waste.

If your wall is:

• 0 - 39 inches high = Custom panels are required
• 40 - 65 inches high = 65 inch panels
• 66 - 96 inches high = 96 inch panels
• 97 - 108 inches high = 108 inch panels
• 109 - 120 inches high = 120 inch panels
• 120 or higher = Custom panels are required

Taking the time to measure accurately and calculate your wallpaper needs will save you time, money, and frustration in
the long run. Happy wallpapering!
